National Forest is just the place. It's located outside the small
town of Marienville, Pa. The National Forest offers many recreational
opportunities including the use of ATV's on designated trails. Two
of these trail systems, the Marienville and Timberline, are very popular
hot spots for ATV enthusiasts from Pennsylvania and it's surrounding
states. Being property of the Forestry, proper atv registration from
Pa or your home state is mandatory to ride legally |

The Marienville
is a one-way directional loop while the Timberline consists of two-way
traffic on all loops.
Both trails are loaded with beauty throughout the mountains of the
National Forest. (Anf2,6,7,) It's not uncommon to see several deer,
turkey, and a rare sighting of a bear or two! The difficulty level
of the trails provide easy riding for the beginner as well as a good
day's riding for the more experienced rider. Camping is allowed at
the trailheads and also along the trail itself. This group of riders,
seen in the background, set up camp along one of the beautiful creek
bottoms with an atv designed bridge paving the way onto the Marienville
trail. |

winter months for fun-filled riding in the snow.
There are several "playgrounds" along both trail systems
that provide some thrills for the hill climbers, mudholers, and
jumpers. These popular spots are located on the first portion
of the Marienville loop.... and the "W" and "D"
loops on the Timberline.
