The Washington County search and Rescue team is primarily made up of Police, Fire and EMS personnel from Washington County here in Western Pa.,but everyone is welcome. We ask that you be a Washington County Resident and have the required state registration and liability insurance on your ATV. Right now we have approx. 20 members. Our goal is to supply a resource for community police , fire and EMS departments should they need the use of ATV's in an emergency such as a lost child or elderly persons or someone that has been injured in the woods such as a hunter or horseback rider. This group is solely on a volunteer basis. Our goal is to have enough ATVs available throughout different parts of the county should they be needed in an emergency. We would also like to keep the group limited to four stroke atvs. So anyone interested in joining can email me at washingtoncoatv@yahoo.com and I will be glad to send you an application out.
